SETSOTO LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF 2.5 KM PAVED ROADS AND STORMWATER
DRAINAGE IN MEQHELENG (FICKSBURG)
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 7CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who meet all tender requirements.
Only tenderers who meet the following requirements:
1.A copy of the company registration certificate (CRC) reflecting active members (Except for sole traders and partnerships) must be
attached.
2.Valid certified copies of the ID of all directors/members reflected in the CRC must be attached.
3.CIDB grading of 7 CE or higher must be provided.
4.Valid and relevant COIDA Certificate/ Workman Compensation/ Letter of good standing must be attached.
5.A valid company Tax Clearance Status Pin (TCS) issued not older than 30 days before the closing of the bid must be attached.
6.A valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) report issued not older than 30 days before the closing of the bid must be attached.
7.Municipal rates & taxes and municipal services account for the company must be attached not in arrears for more than 30 days or a
Lease Agreement (LA) accompanied by proof of municipal rates & taxes and municipal services account either by the lessee or the
lessor or a signed and stamped Letter of arrangement for payment of rates and taxes from the local authority must be attached. In the
case of tribal land, proof of residence with proof of payment stamped and signed by the tribal authority must be attached.
8.Three (3) Years of recent (from 2023 to 2025) Audited Financial Statements, signed by a registered Accountant and approved by the
company directors.
9.In the case of a Joint venture, a Joint Venture (JV) agreement and a power of attorney must be attached.
10.All MBD forms contained in the bid documents must be completed and signed in full.
11.Other requirements will be contained in the tender document.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R2,500.00 payable by proof of deposit or cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.
Bid documents will be obtainable as of 17 November 2025, in Ficksburg Municipal offices and during the briefing sessions upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of R 2 500.00 per Tender Document paid in CASH OR EFT. Bidders who previously procured the
tender document T09 (25/26) will be eligible to obtain the new tender document at no cost.

A clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Canteen Area, Ficksburg Municipal Head Office on 21
November 2025 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Friday, December 12, 2025.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
