SETSOTO LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR MEQHELENG (FICKSBURG): RECONSTRUCTION OF 2.5 KM PAVED
ROADS AND STORMWATER DRAINAGE
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 7CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who meet all tender requirements.
Only tenderers who Requirements:
1.A copy of the company registration certificate (CRC) reflecting active members (Except for sole traders and partnerships) must be
attached.
2.Valid certified copies of the ID of all directors/members reflected in the CRC must be attached.
3.Refer to the table above for CIDB grading to be provided.
4.Valid and relevant COIDA Certificate/ Workman Compensation/ Letter of good standing must be attached.
5.A valid company Tax Clearance Status Pin (TCS) issued date not older than 30 days before the closing of the bid must be attached.
6.A valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) report date not older than 30 days before the closing of the bid must be attached.
7.The current account statement of water, lights and Rates obtainable from any Local or Metropolitan Municipality and must not be in
arrears for more than one (01) month. Statement from estate agent will not be accepted. If business is operating from a leased
property, a lease agreement must be accompanied by an account statement of water, lights and Rates obtainable from any Local or
Metropolitan Municipality and must not be in arrears for more than one (01) month.
8.Three (3) Years of recent (from 2022 to 2025) /Audited Financial Statements, signed by a registered Accountant and approved by the
company directors.
9. In the case of a Joint venture, a Joint Venture (JV) agreement and a power of attorney must be attached.
10. All compulsory/ supplementary forms contained in the bid documents must be completed and signed in full. (All MBD`s contained in
the tender document). MBD 2 refers to the Tax Clearance application and it must be completed and be signed in full by all bidders,
even though a Tax Status Pin is expected to be submitted as a separate requirement which must also be complied with fully.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R2,500.00 payable by proof of deposit or cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.
Bid documents will be obtainable as of 08th July 2025, in Ficksburg Municipal offices and during the briefing sessions upon payment of
a non-refundable fee of R 2 500.00 per Tender Document paid in CASH OR EFT.

A clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Ficksbrg Town Hall on 18 July 2025 starting at 09h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Friday, August 8, 2025.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
