DRAKENSTEIN LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR NEW NIEUWEDRIFT CEMETERY (PHASE 1)
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 3CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who have to be registered with the CIDB in a 3CE class of construction works and have a grading
designation equal to or higher than that determined in accordance with the sum tendered or a value determined in accordance with
regulation 25(7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, 2004. It is estimated that tenderers will need a grading
designation of 3CE or higher.
attend the compulsory clarification meeting will be held on 17 October 2024 at 12h00 at Paarl Library Hall, Ground Floor, 1 Market
Street, Paarl, GPS coordinates: 3344’19.9”S 1857’47.2”E. Bidders that fail to attend the compulsory clarification meeting will be
disqualified. A representative may only represent one tenderer at this meeting. Bidders that arrive after the starting time of the
compulsory clarification meeting as indicated, will be disqualified.

Drakenstein Municipality for collection of documents. No fee will be charged when the tender documents is requested electronically.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at at Paarl Library Hall, Ground Floor, 1 Market
Street, Paarl, GPS coordinates: 3344’19.9”S 1857’47.2”E. on 17 October 2024 starting at 12h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 10h00 on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
