UMZINYATHI DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR NQUTHU WATER SUPPLY SCHEME – SECTION A : NEW
600MM DIAMETER STEEL RISING MAIN IN NQUTHU LM FROM CH 0 TO CH 5052
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 8CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who are registered in CIDB contractor grading designation 8CE or higher
Only tenderers who are registered in CIDB contractor grading designation 8CE or higher are eligible to submit tenders.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R618.70 payable by proof of deposit is required on collection of the Tender documents.
Tenderers wishing to attend the clarification meeting are to strictly adhere to the following procedures:
•Documents can be procured at a non-refundable deposit of R 618.70 via EFT from Friday, 19 May 2023 to Monday, 29 May 2023 no
later than 12H00 into the following uMzinyathi DM account:

•Tenderers must use the tender number and the Company name as the reference and forward proof of payment to

•Documents to be collected at the site briefing venue on Tuesday, 30 May 2023 and will be issued upon presentation of a valid proof of
payment which will be crossed checked against the list of cleared payments.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Hlathi Dam Community Hall in Nquthu 15 km
West of Nquthu Town along R68 opposite Springlake High School (S28°24’12.25”, E30°53’20.27”) on 30 May 2023 starting at 10h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Monday, June 19, 2023.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
