STELLENBOSCH LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR THE FOLLOWING CIDB CLASS OF CONSTRUCTION WORKS
WILL BE APPLICABLE TO THE TENDER, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SUM TENDERED OR VALUE DETERMINED FOR ALL THE
MAINTENANCE/CONSTRUCTION ITEMS IN THE BOQ, IN ACCORDANCE WITH REGULATION 25(7A) OF THE CONSTRUCTION
INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, 2004 (AS AMENDED) – AS OF 23 MAY 2019 – CLASS OF CONSTRUCTION WORKS:
MINIMUM 4 ME OR HIGHER.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 4ME or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who Class of Construction Works: Minimum 4 ME or higher
Only tenderers who eligibility criteria is stipulated within the tender document are eligible to submit tenders.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R820.00 payable by proof of deposit is required on collection of the Tender documents.
Tender documents, in English, are available free of charge on the website: www.stellenbosch.gov.za. Alternatively, hard copies of the
document are obtainable from the offices of the Supply Chain Management Unit, Stellenbosch Municipality, 1st Floor, Plein Street,
Stellenbosch, upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of R 820.00 per document.

Note: The municipality will never contact you to pay money in exchange for the award of a tender.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Stellenbosch Wastewater Treatment Works.

The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Monday, May 11, 2026.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
