INDEPENDENT DEVELOPMENT TRUST KWA-ZULU NATAL INVITES TENDERS FOR PANEL OF SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR
WATER AND SANITATION PROGRAMME OF DESLUDGING SERVICE FOR THE PERIOD OF 3 YEARS (36 MONTHS) IN KWAZULU NATAL PROVINCE
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 1SO or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who •Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and Tax Clearance Certificate with Pin
•Proof of Consolidated CSD and TCC for Joint Venture parties
•Companies and Intellectual Property Commission(CIPC) (Originally Certified)
•Proof Valid and Active COIDA letter of good standing certificate from DOL/RMA/FEM.
•Proof of Valid and Active CIDB grade 1SO or higher
•Proof of Ownership (a valid vehicle registration certificate) of Vacuum Tanker with capacity of no less than 7kl (Pictures must be
included) and COR must be under the name of bidding company
•A Valid and Active sludge disposal permit or letter of undertaking from a waste treatment facility (Water Services Authority in KZN).
•Proof of Authority to handle chemicals.
•A Valid and Active public liability insurance or a letter of intent from a broker for a cover of R5 Million .Note: At the point of RFQ there
will be a change and Public Liability Insurance only will required.
•Invitation to Bid (SBD 1)
•Bidder’s Disclosure (SBD 4)
•Preference Points Claim Form in terms of the Preferential Procurement (SBD 6.1)
•Fully Completed Certificate Of Authority For Signatory
•The bid document must be completed in full using hand and permanent black ink only.
Only tenderers who has Grade 1SO or Higher on CIDB are eligible to submit tenders.
The RFP Document will be available for download on www.idt.org.za from the 26th March 2026 and NO Documents that will be
available for collection at IDT Offices.
