Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure First Aid Level 1 & 2 training for sixteen (16) officials in accordance with specified standards. The training aims to equip participants with essential life-saving skills, including CPR, choking management, wound care, and basic shock and fainting treatment, serving as foundational first aid knowledge suitable for workplace requirements.

Scope

The scope encompasses the provision of accredited First Aid Level 1 & 2 training to 16 officials, including:

• Delivery of training sessions at a venue in King William’s Town.
• Provision of training materials, manuals, equipment, and manuals.
• Submission of detailed training plans prior to training commencement.
• Post-training submission of photographic evidence of training activities.

The training provider is responsible for venue procurement, ensuring all training components are covered, and adhering to the specified training content and standards.

Technical Requirements

• Training must be conducted by trainers accredited by HWSETA and compliant with QCTO standards.
• Training plans, materials, manuals, and equipment must be submitted before training begins.
• The training should include modules on basic shock and fainting treatment, legal aspects of first aid, and other relevant current trends.
• Pictures of training activities must be submitted within 7 days of completion.
• The venue must be procured and arranged by the service provider.
• Training must be aligned with the standards set by HWSETA and the Department of Employment and Labour.

Skills Requirements

• Trainers must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in facilitating First Aid Level 1 & 2 training.
• Proof of accreditation from HWSETA and compliance with QCTO standards must be provided.
• Trainers must submit CVs, certified copies of First Aid and facilitator certificates, and accreditation proof.
• The service provider must demonstrate previous experience with similar training projects, providing reference letters of completed projects.
