ESKOM HOLDINGS SOC LIMITED GAUTENG INVITES TENDERS FOR THE DECOMMISSIONING, DESIGN AND REPLACEMENT
OF THE 120M METEOROLOGICAL MAST STRUCTURE AT KOEBERG OPERATING UNIT (KOU)
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 5CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who Are registered with the Construction Industry Development Board or are capable of being so
registered within twenty-one (21) working days from the closing date for submission of tenders in a contractor grading designation as
stipulated in the tender data and determined in accordance with the best estimated value of the scope of works herein are eligible to
submit tenders.
Only tenderers who Tenderers must have a Construction Industry Development Board (cidb) contractor grading of 5CE (Civil
Engineering) or higher.
(Or Higher means that the grading of CE must be the same and not different) are eligible to submit tenders.
The enquiry documents are supplied to you on the following basis:

Eskom has delegated the responsibility for this tender to the Eskom Representative whose name and contact details are set out in the
Tender Data. A submission of a tender by you in response to this Invitation will be deemed as your acceptance of the Eskom Standard
Conditions of Tender (to be accessed via www.eskom.co.za).

KINDLY NOTE THAT ALL THE TENDER RETURNABLES NEED TO BE DOWNLOADED FROM THE ESKOM TENDER BULLETIN IN
ORDER FOR THE TENDERER TO HAVE A COMPLETE TENDER AND ENSURE THAT ALL TENDER RETURNABLE DOCUMENTS
ARE COMPLETED CORRECTLY, DATED AND SIGNED.
ALSO NOTE THAT ESKOM WILL HAVE A SITE WALK-DOWN ON 14 AUGUST 2023 @ 14:00 - 15:00 AT THE SITE WEATHER
STATION, SO IT IS REQUESTED THAT THE TENDERER/SUPPLIER ATTEND BOTH THE CLARIFICATION MEETING AND SITE
WALK-DOWN TO ENSURE THEY UNDERSTAND THE ESKOM REQUIREMENTS.

A clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at LINK CAN BE FOUND ON THE TENDER DOCUMENT on
10 August 2023 starting at 13h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 10h00 on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
