Objectives

The primary objective is to refurbish Building No 015 at Scala Barracks under the Department of Defence, ensuring the upgraded facility meets current operational, structural, and safety standards for military personnel.

Scope of Work

The project involves comprehensive refurbishment of the specified building, with a specific focus on upgrading ablution facilities and general building infrastructure. The successful contractor will be responsible for delivering a fully functional and compliant facility, encompassing all necessary civil, mechanical, electrical, and finishing works required for the complete restoration of the building.

Technical Requirements

• Minimum contractor grading of 2GB as per the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).
• Mandatory registration with the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and valid CIDB registration status.
• Strict compliance with all applicable local building codes, municipal bylaws, and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Proven capability to execute construction and refurbishment tasks safely at elevations of 3 metres and above.
• Submission must strictly utilise the official tender documentation issued by the employer; late submissions will not be considered.

• Demonstrated possession of relevant trade-specific qualifications and hands-on experience in building refurbishment.
• Commitment to fully completing all contracted tasks as specified, without partial delivery or abandonment.
