DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE INVITES TENDERS FOR THE REFURBISHMENT OF THE SWIMMING POOL FILTRATION SYSTEM
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 1SO or 1GB or higher. 0SO or 0GB Potentially Emerging
Enterprises who satisfy criteria stated in the Tender Data may submit Tender offers.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who ARE CSD APPROVED AND CIDB REGISTERED WITH A CERTIFICATE OF
COMPLIANCE.
Only tenderers who POSSESS ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING SKILLS, TO SAFELY CARRY OUT THE REQUIRED
REFURISHMENT AND TO UPHOLD THE LOCAL TRADE AND SAFETY STANDARDS WITH COC. are eligible to submit tenders.
NO PAYMENT REQUIRED. TENDER DOCUMENTS WILL BE EMAILED TO INTERETED SUPPLIER AFTER THE SITE MEETING.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Ndabezitha Conference Room, Naval Base
Durban, 11 Bayhead Road, Salisbury Island, Durban, 4052 on 15 October 2025 starting at 10h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
