BELA BELA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR REFURBISHMENT OF THE SEWER NETWORK AND YARD
CONNECTIONS IN BELA-BELA EXTENSION 9 (WARD 4)
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 5CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who 5 CE or Higher
Only tenderers who Minimum Requirements:
1.Bidders must submit a Tax compliance verification pin on a SARS letterhead.
2.In the case of the Joint venture the Tax Compliance Verification Pin of all parties must be attached.
3.A certified copy of a Company Registration Certificate reflecting names and identity numbers of active shareholding must be attached
(except for Sole Traders and Partnerships).
4.A copy of a JV agreement (in case of JV) must be attached.
5.A certified copy of the Municipal Rates & Taxes Account of the Director and the Company not older than 90days must be attached.
The Bidder will be disqualified if any of the attached Municipal Rates and Taxes Accounts are in arrears for more than 90days.
6.All supplementary / compulsory forms contained in the bid document must be completed and signed in full.
7.Bidders must attach three (3) years Annual Financial Statements (AFS).
8.Bidders must attach proof of registration with the Central Supplier Database (CSD) of the National Treasury, in case of Joint Venture
bidders must submit proof of registration with the Central Data Base (CSD) of the National Treasury for both partners.
9.Bidders must attach certified copies of qualifications for key personnel to demonstrate compliance with EPWP requirements for
experience in Labour Intensive Construction methods/ skills.
10.Bids received will be evaluated in terms of the 80/20 Price/Specific goals as prescribed in the amended Preferential Procurement
Policy Framework Act (No 5 of 2000). The specific goals will be allocated as indicated in the table below

11.Failure to comply with the above-mentioned conditions may invalidate your Bid.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Entrance of the Municipal Office, 59 Chris Hani
Drive, Bela-Bela. on 04 April 2023 starting at 10h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Friday, April 14, 2023.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
