Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified and experienced service provider to rehabilitate the Siyathuthuka/Magoda Main Road (Phase 3) in Ward 2 and 7, covering a distance of 2.17 km. The project aims to improve the road infrastructure within the specified wards to enhance transportation and community access.

Scope

The scope of work includes the rehabilitation of the Siyathuthuka/Magoda Main Road in Ward 2 and 7, specifically for Phase 3. The project involves site preparation, road construction, and related activities necessary for the complete rehabilitation of the specified road section.

Technical Requirements

• Bidder registration with CIDB with a contractor grading of 6CE or higher.
• Registration with the National Treasury Suppliers Database (CSD).
• Participation in a compulsory briefing session and site visit scheduled for 09 April 2026.
• Submission of sealed and endorsed tender documents, with the tender marked as per instructions.
• Adherence to the evaluation process, which includes a functionality assessment (minimum 70 points) and a second stage based on price and specific goals.
• Completion of the project within the specified timeframe and compliance with all tender conditions.
