SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL PARKS INVITES TENDERS FOR RENOVATIONS OF 10 CHALETS IN ADDO REST CAMP AT THE
ADDO ELEPHANT NATIONAL PARK, EASTERN CAPE PROVINCE.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 4GB or higher. 3GB Potentially Emerging Enterprises who satisfy
criteria stated in the Tender Data may submit Tender offers.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who attain 51% or black ownership and local contractors with verifiable proof of business address
older than 1 year, in the Sundays River Valley Local Municipality, Sarah Baartman District Municipality and Eastern Cape Province.
Only tenderers who can demonstrate their ability to undertake the work and to provide proof of experience, expertise and personnel to
undertake work of this nature. Tenderers are required to score a minimum of 17 points out of a possible 24 points (70%) in order to be
responsive: Tender Data, of the proposed functionality criteria and point system for evaluation with points being awarded in accordance
with the following provisions:
a) General Building Construction Experience (maximum 12 points)
b) Technical Expertise and Competency (maximum 12 points) are eligible to submit tenders. are eligible to submit tenders. are eligible

A non-refundable tender deposit of R300.00 payable by cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Addo Interpretive Centre, Addo Rest Camp,
Addo Elephant National Park on 10 April 2024 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
