UNIVERSITY OF KWAZULU NATAL INVITES TENDERS FOR REPLACEMENT OF STEEL WINDOWS TO ALUMINIUM AT
FLORENCE POWELL RESIDENCE - HOWARD CAMPUS
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 2GB or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who have CIDB grading of 1-2 GB only
Only tenderers who have CIDB grading of 1-2 GB only are eligible to submit tenders.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R100.00 payable by proof of deposit is required on collection of the Tender documents.
The compulsory bid returnables will be set out in the bid document.
Bid documents (available in English only) are obtainable from 11 July 2023 until 14 July 2023 at 15H30 online by sending proof of
payment of a non-refundable fee of R100 PER DOCUMENT to Nomfundo Zaca on email [email protected] Payments to be made
into the following bank account:

No bid documents will be issued outside the timeframes indicated.

The University does not bind itself to accept the lowest bid and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of any bid. If you are not
contacted within 120 working days after the closing date of the tender, consider your tender unsuccessful.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at UKZN Howard College - CMS boardroom (
Gate 3 entrance) on 18 July 2023 starting at 10h30.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
