The primary objective of this tender is to establish a Transaction Advisory Panel that will provide specialized advisory services to Transnet over a period of five (5) years. Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

  • Proven experience in PPP/PSP projects, with a minimum of ten (10) projects reaching financial close or operational status since 2000, supported by reference letters.
  • Expertise in technical/engineering advisory for mega infrastructure projects, with at least ten (10) relevant projects since 2000, supported by reference letters.
  • Financial advisory experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, with at least ten (10) projects since 2000, supported by reference letters.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure, procure, and close projects, with evidence of successful outcomes.
  • Capability to provide innovative financing mechanisms, risk management, lifecycle costing, and environmental assessments.
  • Compliance with environmental, safety, and security standards, including railway safety regulations where applicable.
  • Ability to deliver services on time, within scope, and aligned with Transnet’s transformation and sustainability goals.
