It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 1GB or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who Reside in Cape Town

Only tenderers who Mandatory Requirements:
Valid CIDB certificate
Valid Letter of Good Standing (COIDA) issued by the Department of Labour
Provide a CV of a construction health & safety officer who will be appointed for the project

Appointment of a supplier to repair and replace the roof mainly in boat shed area at Council for Geoscience, 3 Oos Street, Bellville as
per below:

General Maintenance

Description:
•Clean roof thoroughly using high pressure washer and scrub any tough areas with a hard bristle brush to get rid of dirt, grease and
flaking paint
•Blowing out/deep cleaning of downpipes and guttering systems around buildings and boatshed Removing any waste or debris blocking
the system
•Replacing worn out downpipes and connectors/bends
•Sealing/waterproofing guttering system
•Replastering damaged areas on edges of walls and gutters
•Applying plaster sealer, damp sealer and/or any water proofing agent and repainting area
•Allow for scaffold around building for safe access

•Remove Ridge capping in section and reinstall with new polyclosures
•Re-paint area
N.B. Compulsory site briefing is required
NOTE: Contractor should always have project supervisor on site to maintain standard and specification
are eligible to submit tenders.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at 3 Oos Street, Bellville Council for Geoscience
on 03 December 2024 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 10h00 on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
