Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to sell municipal properties listed by Matzikama Municipality on an "as is" basis. Interested parties are invited to submit offers for the purchase of these properties, with the aim of facilitating development or use in accordance with specified zoning and restrictions.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes the sale of three municipal properties located in Lutzville, Vredendal, and Klawer, each with specific zoning and development restrictions:

• Property in Lutzville: Verkeer Street, Erf 1309, Industrial zone I, 5235m²
• Property in Vredendal: High Street, Erf 5579 (restricted to place of worship), 1189m²
• Property in Klawer: Alpha Street, Erf 350, Business zone I, 405m²

The sale is conducted on an "as is" basis, and detailed information is available on the municipal website.

Technical Requirements

Applicants must:

• Complete the prescribed tender form and include any annexures or written motivated objections/comments.
• Pay a tender document fee of R150,00, evidenced by the relevant receipt.
• Submit their tender in a sealed envelope clearly marked **“TENDER: K36:2025-2026”**.
• Ensure submission before or on 30 April 2026 at 12:00 during office hours at the specified municipal offices.

For Erf 5579, documentary evidence verifying the formal constitution/establishment of the church is required, as the use is restricted to a place of worship.
