Objectives

The primary objective is to appoint a qualified contractor to perform scheduled maintenance on low voltage electrical infrastructure across health facilities within the BCM District, under the Eastern Cape Department of Health. Scope

The scope covers planned, recurring maintenance activities for low voltage systems within designated district health facilities. Work will be carried out in active clinical and administrative environments, requiring careful planning to avoid disruption to essential medical and support services.

Technical Requirements

• Mandatory CIDB contractor grading of 7EB or higher.
• Full compliance with South African electrical installation standards, municipal regulations, and public sector procurement guidelines.
• Capability to prepare and submit tenders electronically via the official government procurement portal using prescribed documentation templates.
• Strict adherence to submission deadlines; late tenders will be automatically rejected.
• Compliance with all sealing, addressing, delivery, opening, and assessment procedures detailed in the complete tender package.

Skills Requirements

• Employment of registered electricians and technicians with demonstrated competence in low voltage system maintenance and troubleshooting.
