EHLANZENI DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR SITING, DRILLING AND EQUIPMENT OF TWO (2) NEW SOLAR
BOREHOLES AT LIHAWU IN CITY OF MBOMBELA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 2ME or higher.

Only tenderers who have provided the following mandatory information and documents to be used to evaluate the tenderers'
responsiveness will be considered for further evaluation on functionality and preference specific goals.
1.1Only bidders who are registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) will be considers and the copy the CSD report not older
than three months,
1.1.1Form of offer must be firm, VAT and other tax inclusive and valid at least Ninety (90) days from the closing date.
1.3No tender shall be considered for the person who are in the service of the state,
1.4Valid SARS PIN certificate must be attached,
1.5Attached original Certified copy of company registration documents issued by Companies and Intellectual Property Commission
(CIPC) and tenderer must attach shareholder’s certificates where applicable.
1.6Attached original Certified copies of Identity documents of all company directors,
1.7Verifiable copies of Municipal Account/s not older than three months for both the bidder and company directors or lease agreement
or proof of residence (PTO) from the relevant traditional authority
1.8Proof of registration with CIDB for a grading of 2ME or Higher.
1.9Fully completed tender document as issued and signed and submitted on the PDF document that has been issued and reproduced
documents will be rejected. All certified copies must not be older donethree months.
1.10Attached Certified letter from Department of Employment and Labour - COIDA registration letter,
2.This tender will be evaluated in Terms of the 80/20 Preference Points system approved Preferential Procurement Policy of the
Ehlanzeni District Municipality. The preference points system will, be applied as follows: 2.1The 80 points will be for price

Received tenders will be evaluated for responsiveness based on mandatory requirements and on functionality to obtain a minimum of
70 points out of a possible 100 points to qualify for further evaluation in line with 80/20 Preference Points System. are eligible to submit
tenders.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Ehlanzeni District Municipality Office Complex,
DMC, 8 Van Niekerk Street, Sonheuwel Central, Mbombela, 1201 on 21 March 2024 starting at 10h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
