Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and deliver peripheral equipment to the ICT Department at Caledon Office, ensuring the supply of specified hardware components such as laptops, batteries, chargers, and desktop memory, in accordance with the detailed specifications provided.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of the following items to the Theewaterskloof Municipality's Caledon Office:

• Dell Latitude 5590 Chargers (7.4mm barrel) – 5 units
• Dell Latitude 3540 Chargers (USB-C) or equivalent – 10 units
• Dell Latitude Batteries for models 5510, 3540, 3530, 5590 – quantities vary
• Desktop Memory – DDR3 – 20 units
• Konica Minolta Bizhub 223 Toner TN-217 – 4 units

The delivery must be completed to the specified address within the stipulated timeframe, adhering to the technical and quality specifications outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Suppliers must ensure correct part numbers per model as specified in Schedule 1.
• Items must meet the specifications detailed in Schedule 1, including compatibility and quality standards.
• All equipment must be new, functional, and compatible with existing systems.
• Suppliers must provide signed schedules and relevant documentation to confirm compliance.
• Items must be delivered to the designated address in Caledon within the deadline.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Eligible bidders must satisfy the following criteria:

• Complete and sign all required forms, including Schedule 1 (Specifications) and preference claim forms.
• Provide a valid Tax Compliance Status Pin Certificate and a recent Municipal Account or Lease Agreement.
• Complete the prescribed municipal forms (e.g., MBD 2, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9) and submit with the bid.
• Demonstrate compliance with the B-BBEE requirements, including submitting valid certificates or affidavits.
• Ensure the bid is prepared in accordance with the tender instructions, including sealing and marking procedures.
• Possess relevant experience in supplying ICT peripherals and familiarity with municipal procurement processes.
