DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT KWA-ZULU NATAL INVITES TENDERS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CENTOCOW BRIDGE
(NO. 3520) ON LOCAL ROAD L3366 AT KM 2.02 OVER UMZIMKHULU RIVERS IN THE PIETERMARITZBURG REGION. THIS
PROJECT IS IN THE PROVINCE OF KWAZULU-NATAL IN THE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY OF HARRY GWALA AND LOCAL
MUNICIPALITY OF DR NKOSASANA DLAMINI-ZUMA. THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT IS 18 MONTHS.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 8CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who satisfy the eligibility criteria stipulated in clause C.2.1 of the Tender Data are eligible to have
their tenders considered.
Only tenderers who comply with the functionality criteria for experience of key persons, company past performance in
Complex/Specialist Road projects, ie Major Structures Construction as stated in the Tender Data, are eligible to be considered for
further evaluation. are eligible to submit tenders.
Tender documents will be available on the www.kzntransport.gov.za and www.etenders.gov.za website and must be downloaded for
free.

A clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at https://bit.ly/ ZNB01040 on 22 November 2023 starting at
12h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Thursday, December 7, 2023.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
