STEVE TSHWETE LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE 2 ROCKDALE THUSONG
CENTRE FIRE STATION
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 6GB or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who will be evaluated on functionality whereby 60 points has to be attained before financial
proposals can be
looked at. A preferential point system shall apply whereby a contract will be allocated to a tenderer in accordance
with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, Act No 5 of 2000 and as defined in the conditions of tender
in the tender document, read in conjunction with the supply chain management policy of Steve Tshwete Local
Municipality where 80 points will be allocated in respect of price and 20 points in respect of Specific Goals.
Tenderers must have the necessary skills, experience and capacity to perform the required work.
Only tenderers who Copy(ies) of share certificate(s) and certified copy of medical certificate (where necessary)

Joint Ventures must be registered on CSD as joint venture are eligible to submit tenders.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R780.00 payable by cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.
Tender documents will be obtainable from the 24/08/2023, from Legal & Administration Department, Room B207,
Municipal Building, Wanderers Avenue,Tel: (013) 249-7365 against payment of a non-refundable tender amount of R 780.00. Only
payments made in cash or
debit/credit card will be accepted.

A clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Electrical Workshop Boardroom, Municipal Stores
(Magasyn), Cnr. Walter Sisulu- and Protea Street, Middelburg, 1050. on 31 August 2023 starting at 10h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
