the Relocation of Uninterrupted Power Supply System (UPS).

ROAD ACCIDENT FUND - HEAD OFFICE INVITES TENDERS FOR RELOCATION OF UNINTERRUPTED POWER SUPPLY
SYSTEM (UPS)
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 1EB or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who have an active and registered Grade 1EB or higher with the Construction Industry
Development Board (CIDB).
CIDB registration number must accompany the service provider’s quotation/response to the RFQ.
The CIDB registration number must be received by the closing date and time of the RFQ.
Please note: The RAF reserves the right to verify the registration with the CIDB.

Only tenderers who have a minimum of three (3) Reference Letters or Completion Letters confirming installation of UPS with the
following details:
•The name of the company at which the UPS was installed.
•Contact Person.
•Contact Numbers or Email Address.
•The reference letter should indicate that the service provider rendered the installation of UPS System.
Please note: The RAF will not accept a list of references and/or references listed on a table other than signed reference letters or
completion letters on a company letterhead from the client. The RAF reserves the right to validate all reference letters or completion
letters submitted. The reference letter(s) or completion letter(s) must be in the form of individual letter(s) from the respective clients.
NB: If the reference letters or completion letters submitted do not include the information on the bullet points above will not be
considered.
The Service Provider must submit Reference Letter(s) or Completion Letter(s) by the closing date and time of the RFQ.
The service provider must submit a valid copy of a letter of good standing from the Compensation Commissioner or authorized entity
under section 30 (1) of the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Disease Act, 1993 as amended (COIDA), to comply with the
Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Disease Act, Act 130 of 1993 (COIDA).
The Service Provider must submit a valid copy of the letter of good standing for Electrical Building Services or Electrical Installation or
Building Electrical Construction or Electrical Services or Electrical Contractor.
Note: The COIDA letter of good standing must not be older then twelve (12) months.
The valid proof must be submitted by the closing date and time of the RFQ.
The RAF reserves the right to validate and confirm validity.
The service provider must deploy a qualified electrician who will render any electrical works.
The service provider must submit an Electrical Trade Test Certificate of a company/ director/ Operator/ Contractor/ Employee.
The valid proof must be submitted by the closing date and time of the RFQ.
