ROAD ACCIDENT FUND - HEAD OFFICE INVITES TENDERS FOR THE ROAD ACCIDENT FUND (RAF) WISHES TO APPOINT A
SUITABLE SERVICE PROVIDER TO PROVIDE PLUMBING SERVICES AT RAF MENLYN OFFICE FOR A PERIOD OF SIX (06)
MONTHS
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 2SO or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who Grade 2SO or higher with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).
Only tenderers who active and registered Grade 2SO or higher with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB
Registered for Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act with the Department of Labour, as per the Compensation for
Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA).
Service Provider must submit a valid copy of the letter of good standing for Building Construction or Building or Plumbing Services at
the closing date and time of the RFQ.
The service provider must provide a minimum of three (3) reference letters showing experience where Plumbing Services were
rendered with the following details:
•The name of the company at which the Plumbing Services were rendered;
•Contact Person;
•Contact Numbers or Email Address;
•The reference letter should indicate that the service provider rendered Plumbing Services.
Please note: The RAF will not accept a list of references and/or references listed on a table other than signed reference letters on a
company letterhead from the client. The RAF reserves the right to validate all reference letters submitted. The reference letter(s) must
be in the form of individual letter(s) from the respective clients.
NB: If the reference letters submitted do not include the information on the bullet points above will not be considered.
The service provider must have a Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing or Diploma in Plumbing. Service Provider must submit valid copy
of Trade test certificate in Plumbing or Diploma in Plumbing at the closing date and time of the RFQ.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at 38 Ida Street, Menlo Park 0081 on 30 January
2024 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Friday, February 9, 2024.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
