GEORGE LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR THE THEMBALEHTU (WEST) WATER PUMPSTATION AND
ASSOCIATED MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL WORKS
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 5ME or higher.
Only tenderers who eligible to submit tenders:
Prospective bidders that arrive after 15 (fifteen) minutes of the advertised start time, will not be allowed to attend the meetings or to sign
the attendance registers, unless the person chairing the meetings gives permission to do so. Reasons for the chairperson’s decision
must be noted. Only tenders scoring a minimum of 70 out of 100 points will be further evaluated in terms of Stage 2: Price, Preference
and Specific Goals.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R800.00 payable by proof of deposit , cash or bank guaranteed cheque is required on collection of
the Tender documents.
Tender documents will be made available from the date of advertisement at the offices of Zutari. Tenderers are required to arrange for
tender documents at least 2 days in advance and can be arranged with Adelle at 044 805 5400 or email address: [email protected].
Tender documents can be made available at the compulsory site visit only by prior arrangement.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at MS Teams on 06 February 2025 starting at
10h00.
An additional compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at 34°00'13.85."S, 22°29’10.96”E
(Reservoir an Water Tower site in Thembalethu (West)). on 07 February 2025 starting at 12h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
