Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to drill groundwater monitoring and general boreholes for Midvaal Local Municipality. The work supports the municipality's wastewater treatment works, transfer stations, and landfill sites, ensuring sustainable groundwater management and environmental compliance from the date of appointment until 30 June 2028.

Scope

The scope of the project includes:

• Drilling groundwater monitoring boreholes at designated sites.
• Drilling general boreholes as required across wastewater treatment works, transfer stations, and landfill sites.
• Providing related services necessary for borehole installation, development, and testing.
• Performing these services as and when required during the contract period from the date of appointment until 30 June 2028.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Compliance with relevant specifications and technical proposals outlined in the bid documents.
• Capability to execute drilling operations efficiently and safely.
• Provision of supporting documentation demonstrating technical competence.
• Adherence to the Midvaal SCM Policy, Preferential Procurement Policy, and relevant legislation.
• Demonstration of experience and resources suitable for groundwater drilling projects.
