CITY OF CAPE TOWN METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR UPGRADE AND REHABILITATION WORKS TO
THE EIKENDAL MARKET, KRAAIFONTEIN, INCLUDING THE PROVISION AND INSTALLATION OF A NEW STRUCTURAL STEEL
CANOPY, AND ASSOCIATED ANCILLARY INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 6GB or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 6GB or higher.
Only tenderers who tender in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations and the City of Cape Town’s Supply Chain
Management Policy (SCM Policy). Furthermore, in terms of these Regulations and the SCM Policy, tenderers are required to meet the
HDI and/or RDP specific goals
It is estimated that tenderers must have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 6GB or higher. are eligible to submit tenders.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R300.00 payable by proof of deposit or cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.

Documents may be collected during working hours between 08:30 – 15:00 from 26 June 2026.

The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 10h00 on Monday, August 3, 2026.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
