Klerksdorp Tshepong Hospital Complex is a public district hospital in Klerksdorp, North West Province. Klerksdorp hospital was built in 1896, Tshepong hospital in 1978. In 1999 the two hospitals became a fully departmentalised Hospital complex. The K/T renders level 1 and 2 services to the Matlosana region, Southern region, Bophirima region and partial level 3 services to the whole of the North West Province.

GETTING THERE

The hospital is located at the corner of OR Tambo and John Orr Street in Klerksdorp, North West. Nearby main roads are R30, running past the East side of the hospital, and the N12 to the North. Klerksdorp is located 17km North of Orkney and 50km South-West of Potchefstroom.

PAYMENT

Klerksdorp Tsepong Hospital complex is a provincial hospital. Therefore, services are free to pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as pensioners and children under the age of 6. All other patients are charged a consultation and/or admission fee.
