Get to know Atlantis

Atlantis is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa, 40 km north of the Cape Town Central Business District. This suburb of Cape Town along the west coast of South Africa has a total population of 67 491 residents and there are three major languages spoken here: Afrikaans (79.5%), English (9.4%) and IsiXhosa (7.7%).
The manufacturing sector is the leading contributor to the Atlantis GDP with 44.16% and out of all sectors, employs the most people (36% of the Atlantis population work in manufacturing). Other sectors with significant contributions to the Atlantis GDP are: the finance, insurance, real estate and business services, wholesale and retail trade, catering and accommodation.
