Security guards for your personal, business, or general needs. We will supply you with industry standard guards registered with PSIRA and from a first-class selection.

Target Market.
African K-9 Solutions target market will be the wildlife estates, reserves and rural farm communities who require the best of the best K9 officers. We will not be limited to these areas but also provide our services to the public that might need a personal protection dog at home to protect their family and belongings. As for the training we will be targeting clients in the above-mentioned fields to support and guide them to a higher standard in the K9 working environment building their knowledge and experience with the working dog industry. Dog lovers in general will always be welcome to any of our training courses if they wish to just build on their knowledge or want to learn more about the K9’s and their ways.
Our training will be focused on the youth to give them an opportunity to gain knowledge to go out and procure a job in the security industry. Students that might require a gap year can easily join our training programs to get a SASSETA accredited international recognized qualification. For the older generations wanting to join the security and/or K9 industry, we offer the exact same experience with no holding back whatsoever weather it is to learn more about their fury friends or to see and feel the power of a properly trained working K9 we will not hold back at all. African K-9 Solutions (PTY) LTD is a small family business that started out in middle of 2020. This was a tough year for all of us during the worldwide pandemic of COVID-19. After having to leave the company I worked for at that stage I decided to take a leap of faith and start African K9 Solutions (PTY) LTD. This is a predominant K9 and handler training and certification company, but we also specialize in private security solutions that we combine with our knowledge and love of the K9’s that work in the security industry. K9 solutions ranging from patrol to tracking and detection work training of world class standards keeps our competitors on their toes. We will also offer foot guards that can do patrol work on properties, as well as K9 security officers for anti-poaching and farm patrol services.
As for our training aspects we will offer K9 training as well as handler courses for legally complying with the K9 and security industry. We will also offer security guard training from grades E to A.
The most important part of the company will be the dogs and the dog handlers that will be working with these specially trained K9’s. Our handlers will be part of the training program of the dogs to ensure the bond between handler and dog gets stronger with each session and to keep our skills at a world class standard. The kennel staff ranging from the kennel master right up to the kennel hand are the backbone of the company ensuring everything runs smoothly and our dogs every need gets met and catered for.
The director(s) come from a working K9 industry allowing for vast amounts of knowledge being available to utilize and constantly gets fulfilled as training and seminars are attended in the field of K9’s. with the management and staff attending where possible.

Mission Statement.
African K-9 Solutions mission statement is to provide world class K9 services in the security and wildlife industry. As well as dog and handler training of world class standard. We strive to train and provide the industry with only the best of the best sourcing the cream of the crop regarding genetics of our working K9’s. Our mission is to make a difference in the everyday life of people ranging from our staff right up to the person reading or viewing one of our social media pages or articles.
African K9 Solutions is run by the director Andries Els who has many years of security and working K9 experience both in field and on the training grounds. He is a qualified assessor, moderator, facilitator, and dog handler (DH1 TO DH5 with tracking and detection). He has hours of experience and patience in the training of both domestic and working dogs. He will be facilitating most of the training that gets done at African K9 Solutions to ensure students and customers who bring their dogs for training gets the most out of their experience while at African K9 Solutions. Having a National Diploma in Game Ranch Management it makes Andries the ideal candidate to train and work with your dogs and staff or family members he brings the farm life together with town and security together giving you a fully loaded package of knowledge and experience to help you build a future career,
By the managers side is Chenique Steyn or better preferred to be called by her nickname Niqii, is his partner both in the work and private life. She has a qualification in dog handling with (DH1 TO DH5 with tracking and detection). She also has experience and lots of hours spent working with dogs in the industry. She will be working on getting her Assessors and Moderators qualification to bring more experience in to the company. She is a qualified foundation phase teacher so has more than a worlds patience when it comes to our K9 students ensuring they get all their training in a positive reinforced manner.
Both Andries and Niqii have their PSIRA A grades so there is no lack in knowledge or qualification when it comes to our management team.

Legal Structure.
African K9 Solutions (PTY) LTD is a Proprietary Limited company. We will be registering with all the necessary institutes to operate legally in the K9 and training industry. We will be registering at the following institutes.
• Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
• Safety and Security, Sector Education & Training Authority (SASSETA).
• Register for a Performing Animals Protection Act license (PAPA License).
• Any other organizations that the company needs to be registered at as we grow.

Area we will cover.
Our focus area would be the Gauteng area, but we are not limited to just one province we will be available for providing our services to any province within South Africa. African K-9 Solutions will then expand to more areas as business increases and the demand rises for K9 security services.
We will strive to reach our goal to have our international roots settled to Namibia, Botswana, and more African countries.

African K9 Solutions (PTY) LTD will be part of the rural and urban security and K9 working dog’s Industry. We will also be part of the training department of the security sector and K9 industry. The larger companies in the security industry do not all offer the K9 aspect of the business but am however nationally very big and influential in the industry.
There is an increase in demand for security services in South Africa especially with the world pandemic covid-19 that has been causing big changes in most companies. People who used to be employed now need to do anything possible to survive causing a raise in the crime statistics for South Africa from 2.01 million crimes being committed in 2019 to 2.04 million crimes being committed in 2020 this is a 1.4% increase in reported crimes. This means there is a potential for growth and development in the company.
Detailed description of customers.
The groups that the company plans to market to is your farming communities in the rural areas where police services are far away when needed. So, by providing them with security or K9 services we can assist in saving some crucial seconds when it comes down to a situation or even completely prevent any situation from arising at all.
The other group is the urban side we will offer our security guards services to any company or individual that feels they need that extra protection at their home or business.
Our school groups will be our young blood to bring some new young recruits into the industry both K9 and security. At the same time, we will help get students qualified for a possible career where they otherwise may not have been able to go and study at a higher institute.
Finally, we will offer the person sitting at home the whole day or the working dog handler the services of training their dog for them in the discipline they require.
We are not limited to wo we provide our services to if we can assist and provide the service our clients need, we will gladly assist them. If by some chance we cannot assist our clients, we will work to get our company accredited for their needs or refer them to any of our sister companies that we know will offer them world class service.
Our target customers are those people or companies that require world class service at an affordable price.

How to sell.
Currently, the only persons in charge of African K9 Solutions is the owner Andries Els and his partner Chenique Steyn. As business builds and profits increase, African K9 Solutions will appoint more employees to assist with the marketing, online marketing, and social media. The company will increase awareness of our target group of clients by means of online advertising and possible site visits where possible.
