Basadi Ba Dithakga, meaning “hard working women” in Setswana, was a choosing a name because it highlighted the strength obvious choice in on which the company draws from. The company was started to serve as a platform and inspiration for women to explore and create opportunities for themselves in the male dominated technical field of engineering. Gratitude is all that we can give to those who have been with us through our journey and gave us the encouragement needed to helping us taking that Giant leap of faith in exploring the world of business. Basadi Ba Dithakga Services (Pty) Ltd has identified various areas that could improve the level of the Non Destructive Testing as a whole in South Africa. Basadi Ba Dithakga Services aims to become one of the South Africa’s leading innovative companies in the Non Destructive Testing Industry. “Innovate, Empower and Deliver” is the basis of its existence and with those core values it is sure to make an everlasting impact in the development of Southern Africa.
Although the Non Destructive Testing industry has sparked a lot of public interest, both positive and negative only a small portion of its participants have the technical expertise required to acquire and subsequently successfully execute the work on offer from the Public Sector, at their disposal. This has presented a lot of challenges to the custodians of the industry in terms of ensuring that the work done is equally shared amongst aspiring “Entrepreneur” This Business Plan has been drafted to present a solution to some of those challenges whilst also improving the quality of the Non Destructive Testing
industry and service delivery.
