Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to engage qualified and experienced companies to provide guarding security services across various properties owned by the Beaufort West Municipality. The aim is to ensure the safeguarding and security of municipal properties through reliable security service provision for a period of 36 months.

Scope

The scope involves the provision of security guarding services at different municipal properties. The selected service provider will be responsible for security operations as specified in the bid documents, ensuring continuous protection over the contract duration of three years.

Technical Requirements

• Participation in a compulsory clarification meeting scheduled for 02 June 2026 at 11:00.
• Submission of sealed bid documents before the closing date and time (10:00 on 25 June 2026).
• Bid documents must be marked appropriately and submitted to the specified municipal office.
• Payment of a non-refundable fee of R265 for printed documents, with proof of payment required for document collection.
• Availability of electronic documents free of charge.
• Adherence to the municipality’s procurement policies, including the 80/20 preference points system.
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database is a prerequisite for participation.
• Bid validity period of 120 days after the closing date.
