The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver an electrical cable fault pin-pointer system integrated with a tablet interface. The system aims to accurately locate underground cable faults using acoustic surge waves and electromagnetic detection methods, providing real-time visualization, data logging, and reporting capabilities.
The scope includes the procurement and delivery of a portable fault pin-pointing system comprising:
The system shall be suitable for locating faults in low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) power cables, including underground utility cables such as XLPE and PILC, up to a detection depth of 5 meters under typical soil conditions.
