Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply a 3-year single-user AutoCAD subscription including specialized toolsets (Commercial, ELD) tailored for electrical design, control systems, and schematic drafting needs of Newcastle Municipality's Electrical Services. The supplier is expected to provide the software, ongoing support, updates, and ensure full operational functionality over the subscription period.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Provision of the latest version of AutoCAD Electrical with all necessary tools and libraries for electrical and control system design.
• Supply of a standalone, single-user license valid for three years, including activation keys and installation support.
• Delivery of the software digitally with full activation and operational status.
• Provision of technical support, updates, and patches for the duration of the subscription.
• Support for integration with existing systems and compatibility with specified operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016+).
• Assistance with installation, configuration, and initial setup.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Software must be the latest version of AutoCAD Electrical, fully functional with all relevant tools for electrical schematic design, control panel layout, PLC integration, BOM generation, and real-time collaboration.
• Support for installation on a single workstation with activation codes provided upon delivery.
• Compatibility with Windows 10 or 11 (latest updates) and Windows Server 2016 or later.
• Inclusion of all necessary libraries, symbols, and industry-standard components.
• Provision of automatic updates and patches during the 3-year subscription period.
• Delivery of the software digitally within one week of contract award.

Skills Requirements

The supplier must demonstrate:

• Authorized distribution or reseller status for AutoCAD Electrical.
• Previous experience in supplying AutoCAD Electrical licenses to similar clients, with at least three references for projects of comparable scope and duration.
• Capability to deliver and install the software within one week of contract award, with full activation and operational support.
• Provision of comprehensive technical support throughout the three-year license period, including troubleshooting, remote assistance, and access to online resources.
• Ability to provide updates, patches, and major version upgrades during the license term.
• Experience in supporting electrical design and automation industries with relevant software solutions.
