Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a service provider for the 12 months servicing and maintenance of access control systems in Pretoria Bryntirion Estate. The successful bidder will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, servicing, and maintenance of access control infrastructure over the specified period.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Servicing and maintenance of access control systems at Pretoria Bryntirion Estate for a duration of 12 months.
• Adherence to the detailed specifications and requirements as outlined in the Terms of Reference/Special Conditions.
• Provision of all necessary services, including installation, commissioning, technical support, and training if required.
• Compliance with all technical, safety, and security standards specified in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements, as detailed in the specifications, include:

• Experience in CCTV and access control systems with a minimum of 2 years traceable work history.
• Provision of proof of registration on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Possession of valid PSIRA certification for security service providers.
• Capability to perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance of access control hardware and software.
• Ability to conduct inspections, tests, and analyses to ensure system compliance and performance.
• Provision of spare parts, warranties, and incidental services as required.
• Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to access control systems and security infrastructure.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the tenderers include:

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in CCTV and access control system maintenance.
• Registered security service provider with valid PSIRA certification.
• Technical expertise in servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing access control hardware and software.
• Ability to conduct system inspections, tests, and analyses to ensure operational standards.
• Knowledge of relevant South African legislation, security standards, and procurement regulations.
• Capacity to provide technical support, training, and documentation related to access control systems.
