The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to supply and deliver two laptops to the Rand West City Local Municipality. Bidders must factor this deduction into their quoted pricing.
Preferential Procurement System: Evaluation utilizes either an 80/20 or 90/10 weighting model (price versus specific goals), determined by the lowest acceptable bid. Up to 20 points can be awarded for demonstrating at least 51% black ownership and 51% female ownership, supported by valid BBBEE certificates, sworn affidavits, or CSD reports.
Compliance & Submission Protocols: Strict adherence to submission rules is enforced. Late, incomplete, unsigned, or electronically submitted bids will be rejected. Required documentation includes a valid 90-day quotation, tax compliance certificate, CSD registration summary, certified BBBEE/ownership proof, company registration, director IDs, and proof of non-arrears for municipal accounts (or a valid lease agreement/SAPS affidavit). Persons in the service of the state, collusive bidders, and those with past supply chain misconduct are disqualified.
