Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure two cryogenic gloves and two cryogenic face shields that meet safety and quality standards for handling cryogenic materials. The equipment aims to ensure the safety of personnel during cryogenic operations by providing full-face coverage, impact resistance, and protection against splashes and flying particles.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of the following items:

• 2 units of cryogenic face shields designed to protect the face and neck during cryogenic handling.
• 2 pairs of insulated cryogenic gloves suitable for handling cryogenic liquids, dry ice, and ultra-low temperature materials.

The items must be compliant with international safety standards, lightweight, durable, and suitable for laboratory, research, vaccine production, and biological sample storage applications.

Skills and Supplier Requirements

Suppliers must meet the following requirements:

• Provide original manufacturer technical datasheets, product brochures, and complete specifications for each quoted item.
• Include product images with the quotation.
• Demonstrate compliance with safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Submit all compulsory documentation, including BBBEE certificates if claiming preference points.
• Adhere to procurement procedures and submit quotations via the designated portal or email as specified.
