Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to design, manufacture, supply, deliver, install, test, and commission an electro-hydraulic synchronized CNC press brake with a capacity of 400 tons. The project aims to ensure the equipment meets technical specifications, is delivered within the stipulated timeline, and is supported by comprehensive after-sales services including spare parts, maintenance, and skills transfer.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Design, supply, and delivery of the electro-hydraulic synchronized CNC press brake.
• Installation, testing, and commissioning of the equipment.
• Provision of project management, execution strategy, and risk mitigation measures.
• Supply of spare parts and OEM support for maintenance and operational readiness.
• Training of operators and maintenance personnel to ensure operational skills transfer.
• Provision of technical documentation, reference letters, and CVs of key personnel.

Technical Requirements

The technical criteria include:

• Minimum 36 months of relevant experience in supply, repairs, testing, and commissioning of similar equipment.
• Submission of a detailed project schedule with milestones, durations, and overall project lead time (preferably between 101-115 working days).
• Comprehensive methodology covering design, supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Clear execution strategy outlining project management, risk mitigation, and environmental considerations.
• Spare parts management strategy, including availability of critical and consumable parts, OEM support, and technical assistance.
• Operational readiness plan with training programs for operators and maintenance staff.
• Provision of reference letters or a reference list demonstrating previous successful projects of similar scope.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required include:

• Key personnel with a minimum of 36 months experience in relevant projects, including electricians with Wireman’s licenses issued by the Department of Employment and Labour.
• Professional certifications and CVs for all key staff, supported by affidavits confirming their experience and qualifications.
• Project management and technical team capable of developing and implementing detailed methodologies and execution strategies.
• Skilled operators and maintenance personnel trained in machine operation, programming, and preventative maintenance.
• Personnel capable of providing ongoing technical support, spare parts management, and skills transfer post-installation.
