Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations from qualified suppliers for the supply and delivery of materials required by the Worcester Cemetery Department. The materials include specific items such as SAD Behandeld, washers, screws, varnish, and bolts, to support cemetery operations and maintenance.

Scope

The scope encompasses the procurement of various materials with specified quantities and technical specifications, including:

• 38 x 228 SAD Behandeld 6.3M
• Galvanized flat washers M8
• Screws B 3.5X050 PKT 400 E
• DuLux Woodgard Varnish Teak
• Square bolts and nuts 8X100MM

The delivery must be completed within 14 working days from receipt of official order, to the specified delivery address at the Building and Maintenance Department, Worcester.

Technical Requirements

Suppliers must adhere to the following technical conditions:

• Items must meet the specifications outlined in the attached schedule and page 22 of the tender document.
• Alternative products must be fully specified with detailed specifications; non-compliance will invalidate the quotation.
• All prices must include delivery costs and be valid for at least 45 days from the closing date.
• Suppliers must provide full specifications for alternative products if offered.
• Delivery must be made to the specified address within the stipulated timeframe.

Skills and Competency Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate:

• Ability to supply the listed materials within 14 working days of order receipt.
• Compliance with all technical specifications and quality standards.
• Proper completion and signing of all tender documentation, including official forms and schedules.
• Tax compliance, including valid tax clearance certificates and registration details.
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database.
• Adherence to procurement policies, including anti-collusion and conflict of interest declarations.
• Capacity to provide alternative products with full specifications if requested.
