Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply building materials necessary for the repair of the roof structure at the Tennis Clubhouse, Esselen Park Sportsgrounds. The successful supplier will provide quality materials that meet specified standards to facilitate effective repairs and ensure durability.

Scope

The scope includes the supply, delivery, and off-loading of various building materials as detailed in the specifications and pricing schedule. The materials encompass timber, roofing sheets, nails, screws, gypsum boards, paints, and other related building components required for roof repairs at the specified location. The delivery must be completed within 10 days of official order receipt, and all items must conform to the technical specifications outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

• Materials must comply with the specifications detailed on pages 22 - 26 of the tender document.
• Equivalent products of equal or superior quality are acceptable, provided product data sheets are submitted for approval.
• All products must meet relevant standards and be accompanied by data sheets confirming compliance.
• Items such as timber must be kiln dried, pressure treated, and conform to specified dimensions and moisture content.
• Roofing sheets should be galvanized, free from dents or rust, with specified dimensions and coating thickness.
• Paints and sealants must be suitable for interior/exterior use, with specified coverage and drying times.
• All materials must be delivered with proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying building materials for roofing and structural repairs.
• Knowledge of relevant building standards and specifications.
• Ability to provide technical data sheets and documentation demonstrating product compliance.
• Capacity to deliver materials within the stipulated timeframe and handle off-loading at the designated site.
