The primary objective of this tender is to appoint suitable suppliers or service providers to supply and deliver electrical materials to Breede Valley Municipality. The contract aims to ensure the municipality's operational requirements are met through timely procurement of specified electrical products, with a total cap of R300,000.00, and to establish a reliable supply chain for electrical materials over the contract period ending 30 June 2027.
The scope encompasses the supply, delivery, and offloading of various electrical materials, including copper and aluminum lugs and ferrules, daylight switches, and related accessories, as detailed in the specifications. The contract covers procurement of estimated quantities based on previous years, with the municipality reserving the right to amend quantities as needed. Delivery must be made to designated municipal stores within specified lead times, and suppliers are responsible for stock management and ensuring full delivery as per official orders.
