Objectives

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of one motor with the specified technical characteristics. Technical Requirements

• Supply and delivery of a 110 kW, 380V, 2-pole, 50Hz motor.
• The motor must conform to the specifications detailed in the tender, including performance and quality standards.
• The motor must be new, unused, and incorporate recent design and material improvements.
• Provision of warranty for a period of 12 months post-delivery or 18 months post-shipment, whichever concludes earlier.
• Compliance with standards specified in the bidding documents and specifications.
• Provision of all necessary documentation, including certificates of compliance, tax clearance, and municipal service payment certificates.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying and delivering industrial motors of similar specifications.
• Ability to provide certified documentation such as tax compliance, municipal rates and taxes, and municipal service payments.
• Capability to meet the technical standards and warranty obligations specified in the tender.
• Knowledge of procurement policies and compliance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.
• Qualified personnel or technical team capable of ensuring quality assurance and adherence to technical specifications.
• Experience in handling contractual and logistical aspects of large-scale procurement projects.
