Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite quotations for various services required by the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality. These services include procurement of a comprehensive local government library, professional investigations into unauthorised irregular expenditure, and multiple security guarding services at different locations within the municipality.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Procurement of a comprehensive local government library.
• Provision of professional consultancy services for investigations into unauthorised irregular, fruitless, and wasteful expenditure.
• Provision of unarmed security guarding services at various locations, including KWT Office, Winterstrand Beach, Kidds Beach, Kayser Beach, East London Hall, Dimbaza Fire, Fort Jackson Cemetery, and Mdantsane Halls, for a duration of three months (90 days).

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Submission of RFQ documents via the BCMM Vendor Portal or in hard copy before the stipulated deadline.
• Compliance with the specific service descriptions and locations as outlined in the tender.
• Adherence to the submission guidelines, including proper completion of all supporting documents and returnable forms.
• Availability of electronic copies of RFQ documents from 07 August 2026.
