Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite quotations for various refurbishment, upgrade, and service provision projects within Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality. These include refurbishment of libraries and town halls, procurement of forklifts, appointment of professional service providers for assessment reports, security guarding services, and audio recording system setup for council meetings.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses:

• Refurbishment and upgrading of the Central Library and Cambridge Town Hall facilities.
• Provision and maintenance of a 2.5-ton diesel forklift for a period of five months.
• Appointment of a professional service provider to conduct a basic assessment report for the development of a Heroes Acre Cemetery at Cambridge.
• Provision of security guarding services at specified sites for three months.
• Provision of a professional audio recording system for council meetings.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Refurbishment works adhering to municipal standards for the Central Library and Cambridge Town Hall.
• Supply and maintenance of a 2.5-ton diesel forklift suitable for the specified period.
• Preparation of a comprehensive basic assessment report for the Heroes Acre Cemetery development.
• Security guarding services covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for a duration of 90 days.
• Installation and setup of an audio recording system capable of capturing council meetings professionally.
