Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite quotations for the provision of various security services and related infrastructure projects within Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality (BCMM). Specific aims include securing guarding services at multiple locations, supplying and renovating infrastructure such as cattle dip tanks and prefabricated guard houses, and providing security at key facilities like swimming pools, landfill sites, and council offices.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Provision of security guarding services at designated sites for a period of 6 months (180 days).
• Supply, delivery, and renovation of infrastructure components such as cattle dip tanks and prefabricated guard houses.
• Security services at multiple locations including MDantsane, Bonza Bay Beach, Kiddy’s Beach, Garden Transfer, Zwelitsha, Berlin Landfill Site, Council Offices, and other specified sites.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of security guarding services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for a duration of 6 months.
• Supply and installation of infrastructure components such as a cattle dip tank and a prefabricated guard house structure.
• Adherence to safety, security, and operational standards specified by BCMM.
• Availability of electronic copies of RFQ documents and submission via the BCMM vendor portal.

Skills Requirements

The skills requirements involve:

• Capability to deliver security guarding services at multiple locations with trained security personnel.
• Technical expertise in supplying, delivering, and renovating infrastructure components.
• Proficiency in electronic document submission and familiarity with the BCMM vendor portal system.
