Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite quotations for the supply, delivery, installation, refurbishment, and upgrading of various goods and services required by the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality (BCMM). The specific aims include procuring protective clothing, software licenses, fencing, tools, stadium refurbishment, office furniture, and other operational inputs to support municipal functions and development programs.

Scope

The scope covers a wide range of procurement activities including:

• Supply and delivery of protective clothing to BCMM stores and parks
• Renewal of Veeam backup and replication licenses
• Supply, delivery, and installation of palisade fencing and fencing materials
• Provision of professional protective clothing and other equipment
• Supply of software (Nessus) for a period of 1 year
• Supply and delivery of tools and ward assets for development and upliftment programs
• Supply of bushcutters and other equipment
• Refurbishment of stadium facilities and other buildings
• Upgrade of depot facilities and refurbishment of municipal buildings
• Supply of vegetable farming inputs, sporting equipment, and office furniture
• Installation of municipal floor coverings and refurbishment of zoo enclosures

The activities are geographically focused on various locations within East London, Mdantsane, and surrounding areas.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements vary per item but generally include:
