Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a 1-hour radio slot for the Mayor to update citizens of uMfolozi on community development projects. The aim is to facilitate effective communication between the municipality and the community through a dedicated radio broadcast.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of a single 1-hour radio slot on a designated radio station.
• Broadcasting the Mayor's update on community development initiatives.
• Submission of a quotation that adheres to specified conditions and requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the tender are as follows:

• The radio slot duration must be exactly 1 hour.
• The quotation must specify a firm delivery period.
• Price must be inclusive of VAT and valid for at least 90 days from the date of submission.
• Quotations must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly labeled with the project name.
• All submissions must include the required compulsory documents such as tax clearance, municipal rates, and relevant forms.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Prospective bidders must meet the following criteria:

• Submission of valid MBD forms (MBD 1, 4, 6.1, 8 & 9).
• Valid Tax Clearance Certificate or Tax Pin.
• Current CSD Report or MAAA Number.
• Up-to-date municipal rates and taxes not in arrears for at least 3 months or a letter from the ward councillor.
• Ability to deliver the radio slot as per the specified technical requirements.
• Compliance with all compulsory returnable documents and conditions outlined in the tender.
