Objectives

The primary objectives of this tender are to select suitable service providers for various municipal services including the supply and delivery of skip bins and cover nets, installation of a new weighbridge at the landfill site, leasing of an aerodrome (airstrip), supply of spares and maintenance for municipal fleets and small equipment, installation and support of electronic traffic surveillance points, and administration of traffic contravention management systems.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses:

• Provision of skip bins and cover nets
• Supply, delivery, and installation of a new weighbridge at Makhado landfill site
• Leasing of an aerodrome (airstrip) at farm Rietvly for five years
• Supply of spares, hauling, and maintenance for municipal fleets and small equipment over three years
• Supply and maintenance of the latest version of AutoCAD software for three years
• Provision of electronic traffic surveillance equipment and system administration for three years

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Certified copies of SANAS accreditation for relevant services
• Audited financial statements (for certain services)
• Supply of specific equipment such as skip bins, cover nets, and traffic surveillance devices
• Installation and support of AutoCAD software
• Implementation of traffic contravention management systems

Skills Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Experience in supply and delivery of municipal equipment and services
• Technical expertise in installation and maintenance of weighbridges and traffic surveillance systems
• Capability to provide leasing and leasing management services for aerodrome facilities
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software support and updates
• Ability to handle repairs, maintenance, and support for municipal fleets and small equipment
