Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure after service repair for infrared detection equipment at Hlabisa Hospital, ensuring the equipment functions correctly to support fire protection and safety measures.

Scope

The scope includes providing after service repair for infrared detectors, which involves:

• Performing maintenance and repair services on infrared detection devices.
• Submitting detailed reports of the service performed.
• Providing relevant documentation such as certificates, job cards, and invoices.
• Attending to multiple units as specified, with compliance to technical and safety standards.

Technical Requirements

• Service provider must hold a valid CIDB 2 EB/EP contractor registration.
• Must be registered with the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Provide a valid B-BBEE certificate and a letter of good standing.
• Attach previously completed certificates for similar infrared detection services (minimum of 2).
• Provide certificates for artisans (electrician) and wireman’s licenses for on-site personnel.
• Submit a detailed report of the service, signed job cards, and original tax invoice upon completion.
• Issue electrical certificates (CoC) for each DB box tested and passed.

Skills Requirements

• Qualified electricians and wiremen with valid licenses.
• Technicians experienced in infrared detection systems and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to produce detailed technical reports and certificates.
• Competence in adhering to safety, health, and environmental standards during repair services.
