Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure after-service repair services for the hot water system, including the hot water pump system and the donkey boiler, at Hlabisa Hospital. The aim is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of critical water systems within the hospital infrastructure.

Scope

The scope of work involves:

• Performing after-service repairs on the hot water pump system and hot water system with donkey boiler.
• Specific repairs include replacing faulty fan motors, circulation pumps, cold water booster pumps, ball valves, and addressing gas leaks.
• Attending to electrical and refrigeration artisan requirements, including certificates and good standing letters.
• Providing necessary reports, job cards, and guarantees post-service.
• Ensuring all repairs meet the specified standards and specifications outlined in the annexure and technical documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Possession of valid CIDB 1 ME contractor registration.
• Registration with the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Provision of gas certificates and artisan certificates for electricians and refrigeration specialists.
• Submission of a letter of good standing and previous experience certificates.
• Completion of repairs such as replacing faulty fan motors, circulation pumps, ball valves, and gas leak repairs.
• Adherence to specifications related to the repair of water systems, including gas leak detection, pump replacements, and electrical wiring retermination.
• Provision of a guarantee letter valid for 3 months from the date of service completion.

Skills Requirements

The skills required for this tender include:

• Qualified electrical artisans with certification for on-site work (electrician).
• Qualified refrigeration artisans with certification for on-site work (refrigeration technician).
• Experience in plumbing, gas leak detection, and pump repairs.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and execute repairs according to standards.
• Capability to provide detailed reports, job cards, and warranty documentation.
• Competence in handling gas certificates and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
